In many countries, old historic railway stations are under threat. They stand to expire because the line or their ticket office was abolished. They are demolished and replaced when the line is renewed, or rebuilt beyond recognition.
Yet they are
important witnesses to a city or region's industrial and transport past. They
can also be reused or fulfil new additional functions.
On 17 June, during a day-long online seminar (via zoom), EFAITH wants to compare the experiences of citizens and organisations from different countries, and find out how we can support each other's efforts.
